Projects requiring a refresh to load?

Hey all, been using lay theme since 2017. love it so much, thanks for the continual updates!

I have a site set up with the following home page, with project names hyperlinked to the corresponding project. When clicking on the project it doesn't seem to load, just grey. I need to hit the refresh button in the browser for the project to load?
Any ideas what may be causing this/how to address?

hey so i went to permalinks settings and clicked save to refresh the permalinks and now it works
