How do I create a simple anchor point on same page?
-
I want to click on a standard textbox to then be directed to a certain spot on more low on the website. I think there used to be documentation or even a video for this very simple task but I do not understand it and already spent some hours reading through the forum. Please help

to specify: im not trying to get a simple textlink within the text. I placed a class on the textbox to make it look like a button. I want the whole button to be clickable. this is the problem: only the text within the button is clickable.
That's not great. How do i get this worked out?

that shouldnt happen
please do all the steps to the right:
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
- Now see if your problem solved itself
then if that doesnt help:
can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
