Same issue here, very frustrating, if I add in a left BG image it moves it back, then the left doesnt show up

I found a temporary solution that works for me and hopefully for you as well. If you use this code in your css:

.background-image img {
left: auto !important;
}

@fabiandraxl did a shitty hack just put a screenshot of my background color on the left side and it pushed it right, going to try alasdairs code fix though, probably better solution for now
