    Hi,
How can I show the Project thumbnail grid in the footer section under a project post... like in this portfolio:
    http://www.simonurban.de/work#/ehapa/

The LayTheme settings just offer to "Choose a Page as Footer for Projects", but not a catogory.

    Thanks so much.

create a page. call it footer. then insert a project thumbnail grid in there.

then use the settings in lay options → footer
to set that page as a a footer for projects

Thanks for your quick answer. I did that and it seems to work that way, but unfortunately the "project thumbnail grid" seems to ignore the thumbnail of the active post, the one that is shown at the moment. While this might make sense in some cases, I would like to show absolutely all project thumbnails in the footer, in the same order like at my categories thumbnail page. How can I do that? Or how could I stop the "project thumbnail grid" from ignoring the active post?
And is there maybe a way to directly add the categories "project thumbnail grid" to the footer, which would save me from rebuilding the whole grid in the footer page?

If someone is having a similar problem with the Thumbnailgrid.... since the last update there is an option to "Hide current Project from Thumbnailgrid", which solves this problem. Thanks so much @arminunruh for this quick solution.

when you update lay theme, go to lay options. scroll all the way down. then disable "Hide current Project from Thumbnailgrid"

            ah
so you only want the project thumbnail grid of a certain category underneath projects of that category.
you'd need to create pages that contain thumbnailgrids of each category. so you'd have as many pages as categories.
then in lay options → footers, you'd need to use the option where you can set footers individually for each project.

then for each project, set the correct footer.
