Post date on thumbnail rollover

Hello,
I'm trying to add the published date of the post to the project thumbnail rollover, does anybody know how to achieve this?

To add some extra text to your thumbnail use this:

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
