Cannot delete anything in code editor

I cannot delete anything in the source code area. But I can select the code I want to delete and press the spacebar to get rid of it.

yep i noticed this too. For now you can use the "DEL" key instead of the backspace key. will be fixed in the next update

@arminunruh Thanks. How do I get the shortcode option to work? I can't get it to show up.

shortcodes don't work in footers right now.
not sure if that is your problem. can you give me more detail. like what plugin do u use with shortcodes

@arminunruh I am trying to add a signup form w/ Mailchimp for WP. When I click on preview form nothing shows up. Maybe I am doing something wrong on my end.

I've also tried ninja form, and the same thing happens.

Hmm so i create the ninja form. Then i use "+more" -> "+shortcode" and enter the shortcode. then i place it in the gridder. now i save the project and visit it on the frontend.

I was trying to add it to a page and it didnt show up. But when I tried to add it to a category right now, it worked. Maybe a bug or something. Thanks.

@arminunruh its okay I can just work around it : ) Great theme though, most of my friends I graduated with are using it for their portfolio site (including me). Do you think there will be some kind of e-commerce integration in the future?

@arminunruh I am also trying to add an email capture form via Mailchimp. I was able to get the shortcode copied into the gridder but when I test out the email capture I get an error message; "something went wrong. Try again later." I am not trying to add this into the footer so I thought it would be easier.

Is Mailchimp compatible at all with Laytheme? Or is this an issue on the Mailchimp side perhaps?
