    Hello. There is a serious bug in the menu system (or I don't see the solution). When you have submenus via dropdowns there is a format for the desktop version and a variant for the mobile (smartphone) menu. On the smartphone menu the tab on the main menu entry triggers the dropdown on the desktop version it is by mouse over.

    BUT if you are on a tablet you will have the desktop menu by layout but the functionality of the mobile menu until the breakpoint for mobile/smartphone kicks in. So you tab the main menu entry and the dropdown comes out but it doesn't navigate to the main menu point's page.

    So you have to the desktop menu build like the smartphone one and use the main menu point ONLY as trigger. This is bad for UX as there is an unnecessary click in the desktop version.

    Check it out here: https://digitale2023.de

    Any ideas here? Thank you!

      i wonder how to solve this

      i mean there is no mouseover, so you have to tap on the menupoint to show the submenu. im not sure if that is a bug at all! but yea it is something that is not thought through a 100% xD. im not sure if it would be a good decision to open the submenu and to go to a page at the same time mh.

      heres a solution:
      you can add the menupoint "programmübersicht" to your desktop menu. then add a css class to that menupoint like this:
      http://laythemeforum.com:4567/topic/9429/menu-items-to-be-distributed-as-in-the-gridder/2

      body.no-touchdevice .yourmenupointclass{
      display:none!important;
      }

        Yes, that is a good work around! Didn't think of this.

        Maybe another solution would be to make the smartphone menu available to the tablet layout. In my case this would be useful as my desktop menu is too wide for a tablet portrait view anyway.

        Let's do some research on how others solve this…
