HELP! – all "hover images" are not working after update

Hi,
I updated Lay theme and imagehover plugin, and now all hover images are displaced and always showing, even though they should be hidden. It messed up my entire website layout! See attachement. How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated!Best,

same for me. when i reupload my old imagehover.zip everything is fine but after updating the plugin all hover effects are broken and are added to the bottom of my side. i tried every option in the settings, but it wont change anything at all...

are u sure u're not like using some custom css
and are u sure your imagehover addon and lay theme are both up to date and any caching plugin's cache is deleted? -
@arminunruh I tried everything, clearing cache, turn off all custom css. turn off the plug ins and turning them on again after deleting cache. In Safari it seems to work again on my laptop, but on my iphone and on chrome desktop the issue is still there, despite deleting cache there as well. I've sent you an email with the login details. I would be extremely glad, if you could have a quick look to point out the issue.
(for the moment I just turned off the image hover plugin)

i just had to click on "clear cache" and then it worked for me
yea it seems you did everything right, why didn't that work for you, i don't understand

Hi @arminunruh I'm having the same issue for desktop. I've followed all of the troubleshooting suggestions in this thread + clearing cache didn't change anything. Also, when I try to change settings in Imagehover Addon, nothing seems to change/update 😅
Do you have any suggestions on what else I can do?

its probably because either lay theme is not up to date or your imagehover addon is not updated
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
