insert Element Grid in project not working after update

I create an Element Grid, then the dropping with mouse into Project doesnt function. When i press "+" no Field with the classic vertical stripes anymore, where i usually dropped the element grid in. Just a grey thing visible. What i do wrong?!

oh can you check if your browser maybe is a little outdated?
can you try using the latest version of chrome?

not sure but maybe that is the reason

also pls do all of the steps on the right in the blue box.
