    Hello,

I am recently in the progress of updating my website and it seems like that sometimes pictures wont show or just load in very late. I checked the sizing, and the pictures are just a few kb big. So that can't be the issue right?

I also tried lazy loading on/ off, but no difference.

Is there anything I could have missed?

    Thank you in advance!

      @borbold

Hello ! In that case I would like to ask you what your Hoster provides you?
My provider has for example not bandwith limit and 20 GB RAM 1 vCPU which speeds up loading a website complete. (No you dont need so many RAM to load fast - but this is an old contract so still extreme cheap to me)

maybe disable "never show resized versions of images"

or disable your plugin that creates the webp images

            cause it seems like
            Screenshot 2024-03-23 at 06.51.10.png

all these different image sizes like for example: 512w, should load an image that is 512px.

but here, it kind of links to "https://i0.wp.com/www.maximilianborchardt.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/170419-95-scaled-e1708952758449.jpg?resize=512%2C769&ssl=1 "

            instead of 170419-95-scaled-e1708952758449-512…

and that doesn't seem to work. it seems like when i open this url https://i0.wp.com/www.maximilianborchardt.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/170419-95-scaled-e1708952758449.jpg?resize=512%2C769&ssl=1

then the full sized image is loaded instead of the 512px width image

I also code custom websites or custom Lay features.
            💿 Email me here: 💿
            info@laytheme.com

            Before you post:
            1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
            2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            3. Disable all Plugins
            4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
            3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
