Hide specific project from project index
-
you can use custom css for this
when you use the chrome inspector for example you will see each row has a class that contains the project title:
projectindex-project-slug-my-test-2
my-test-2 is the title here
so you can do:
.projectindex-project-slug-my-test-2{ display: none!important; }
replace my-test-2 with the slug of your homepage project
or you can delete your homepage project and create a page for the homepage instead!

Nice thanks Armin I'll try that this evening !
Things is, as I explained in a previous post on the forum, I couldn't match a "page" page project-index with a project's page project-index position, that's why I decided to make my home page a project page, not ideal but it works.
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
