Hi @arminunruh / @mariusjopen
I’ve just updated to the latest version of the Carousel plugin (vers. 1.5.2). I have multiple slides – all centred, which also have text slides. Each text slide has the vertical alignment set to be in the middle (centred). Since the update, they no longer appear set to the middle, they are now positioned at the top of the Carousel frame. I've re-checked the Carousel addon settings in Lay Options, which has the vertical alignment of text slides set to be in the middle, even I change it to different options: top and bottom, the text slide still appears at the top.
I had the same issue when the Carousel plugin was updated in January – think it was vers. 1.4.8. But it was fixed on the next update. Hope this can be fixed soon.
For reference, here’s a link to the page which uses the plugin – https://deslloydbehari.co.uk/repository/
Thank you!

Hi @arminunruh / @mariusjopen
Is there any update on the carousel text slides? As mentioned in my previous post (see above), all text slides which were centred, are now positioned at the top since the last carousel update. When you try different options in the settings, it still always displays the text slide at the top!
Hope this can be resolved soon, thank you, D

is it possible to use a different amount of "Horizontal Space around Text in Slides" for the mobile version than for desktop?
-
no :/ unforturnately not
-
actually you can use custom css:
lay options → custom css & html → custom css for mobile version.lay-carousel .slide-text { padding-left: 60px!important; padding-right: 60px!important; }
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
