As mentioned in the post title, I cannot install Lay Theme on Wordpress. This is the error:

Installing theme from uploaded file: lay.zip
Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme installation failed.

I have uploaded the zipped lay.zip file, if I unzip it I have a lay folder, and inside this lay folder the various subfolders assets, customizer, ecc.

How can i go by?

hey unfortunately the update service that i used seemed to have an issue.
so only half of the files were in the last lay theme update folder:

i just released an update 7.2.1 that contains all the files again. sorry for the inconvenience

if anyone has the same issue and you cannot access your website / wp-admin panel anymore:

Please go to your FTP, (find your FTP login info in your webhost control panel)
go to /wp-content/ → /themes/

then you'll see the folder "lay"
rename this folder to "_lay"

This will disable the theme and you can access /wp-admin/ again and install lay.zip from www.laykeymanager.com for example (version 7.2.1)
