YouTube videos (and sometimes html5 videos) on overlays keep playing in the background even when closed

Hi. Has anyone found that YouTube videos (and sometimes html5 videos) on pages set as overlays keep playing in the background even when closed by pressing X.
I've tried 'Add YouTube Script' in the Lay Options but that appears to have no effect.
Anyone seen this or have a workaround. Thanks

if you go here: https://mvg.alasdairdimmick.com/zine-poster-exhibition/ and click, 'Artist Video Interviews' button, the youtube embed video still plays after closing the overlay. I'm on the latest version hmm

i think i fixed this with the latest lay theme update
i see you also have the youtube script enabled mhcan you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
