How to Display Different Titles and Images for Mobile and Desktop
-
Hi everyone,
I’m using Lay Theme for my WordPress site, and I’m trying to set up different titles and images for the mobile and desktop versions of my site.
Specifically, I want to:
Display a different image for the header or site title when viewed on mobile versus desktop (e.g., different images for desktop and mobile views).
Change the title text or layout for mobile users (e.g., a shorter or different title on mobile).
I’ve tried adjusting the settings in the theme but haven’t been able to find an easy way to do this. Is there a built-in option to do this in Lay Theme, or would I need to use custom CSS or JavaScript?Any help or guidance on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

hey!
use custom phone layouts feature:
https://laytheme.com/documentation/custom-phone-layouts.htmlwith this you can have different content on your mobile version layout / content.
to have a different image as a site title, you can go to customize → mobile (smartphone) → mobile site title
here for example you can choose to use an image and then choose any image u want
Need custom programming for your Lay Theme site?
I regularly add new features to Lay Theme for free, based on user feedback. But if you or your client need something more specific, I’m happy to offer custom paid programming tailored to your project.
Email info@laytheme.com with the subject "Custom paid programming for Lay Theme" and a short description of what you need — I’ll reply with a cost estimate.
Custom features I build often make it into future Lay Theme updates, so your idea might benefit the whole community.
