active state for index (clarity inside)
-
Hi Armin,
Wanna share with you one thing that my student has pointed out.
Let's say "Works" is my project index page which shows the projects as a thumbnail grid/list or whatever..
When I click on one of the projects, it would be nice if the "Work" menu item's current state would still be active, to give the viewer more orientation. There also can be a tricky situation here...
What if one has several project index pages? 'Works' and 'Exhibition' let's say...
Each index shows only one project category.
I've succeeded in fixing the problem with CSS, but I think that it's quite a basic need, and would be great to see such a feature in upcoming updates!Maybe somehow a page can have an option to be assigned as an 'Index' page for a certain project category...

hey!
if your project has the category "work".
and in /wp-admin/ you go to projects ā categorieshere in the overview, you can click on "work".
here, you will have a gridder. you could put your projectindex element here.in appearance ā menus, add the "work" category to your menu.
now, whenever someone is inside of a project that has the category "work" that "category work" menu point will have the active state.the active state is set in "customize" ā "menu style" ā "menu point active"
does that help?
i hope i understood the issue correctly -
and sorry for the late reply
