image hover does not work on safari and iPad/mobile devices
-
Yeah, can you update to Lay Theme to 8.8.8 now please?
Fixed it -
And on mobile, you need to use the settings that make the image hover appear on scroll. That should work too now for that type of full-screen images.
-
Thanks. It does work now on Safari and kind of on mobile devices. It does have some buggy behaivor though on touch-devices, but I have to check if I can fix it on my end...
-
yea whats the buggy behaviour?
-
Before and after the update the image-hover-over did not work on every link, though links and images where applied on them. I rebuild it and it works fine since. On ipad though it jumps links on the upper half of the list and sometimes does not show images at all, specially in vertical (not mobile) screen-mode.
-
i cant really see it on safari ipad i think maybe u disabled it for touchdevices?
I see the image when I click on the link, but I don't really see you using the scroll trigger. -
No, it is definitely on. It does not show hover on scrolling unless you "activate" it by clicking on one link. Then it works, but still skips certain links randomly. Works way better in the lover half of the list. I already rebuild the whole list, but still...
-
ok.
can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?i wanna check how you set it up and test this more.
seems like the images dont show on scroll at all on an ipad -
Uh, giving an unknown third-party full access to my website feels kind of... wrong, tbh. Just to be sure ā is this a common practise here? Do other users have experienced this?
-
yes its a common practice, u can create a new admin user for me
u can delete it once im doneu dont have to do it if u dont feel comfortable with it!
-
I sent you the login-data.
-
