Lost transparent pgn/gif Background
-
I can not but pgn/gif Imagefiles with an transparent background in gridder without loosing the transparency.
Uncomfortably I didn’t find anything about that Issue in the forum yet.On the site the images are shown with an light grey/white background.
In the Gridder Editor the image are shown with transparent backgroundThe "Never show resized versions of your images“ Option did not help.
When opening the displayed image in an extra tab the image background still is transparent. No Issues with other themes active. It doesn’t seem to be a problem any resizing algorithms from WP either.
All other Plug-In were turned off. There is no Issue when using an <img> HTML Tag to include it.

I tried to follow as explained in this post, but as I want to add the image to a stick footer I can only use the +HTML Button in the Footer Page Editor. The Size of the image is then always adapted to size choosen in the gridder.
Is there a workaround of that or am I including the images wrong?
This might even be the better way for me to add the images.Feel free to check for yourself

Hi CX,
I just had a look into your code and it seems like your Custom CSS code makes the background of the boxes with an image white.
.col[data-type="img"] .ph{ background-color: #f7f7f7; }
Can you delete that part and tell us if the problem remains?
All the best!

This Code wasn't at my Custom CSS but you made me realize that the color was picked in 'Lay Options'. Image Placeholder Background Color" is blank now. The Background is transparent again. Thanks :)
Is there also a way I can include the <img> in the footer page with a fixed size? The Gridder is always ajusting the size depending on the coloum count used to add the code via the '+Html' button. ?!

hi CX!
Great! Yes, I wanted to propose the same solution.
Keep up the good work!

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
