Hi,
I'm searching for a shop-solution for my WP-Site.
Is it possible to use WP-ecommerce or something like that?
Sorry if you think this is a stupid question but I have no experience at all...Thank you for your help!

Hey Michael, Lay theme is not compatible with wordpress ecommerce solutions like woocommerce for example. I have seen ppl use paypal buttons. also maybe u want to create a tictail shop and just link it in your menu.

Hey Armin,
thank you for your help.
Can I ask why this is not compatible?
And do you know if I can run woocommerce on its own and then link into the shop or has it to be plugged in into a theme directly?THX
-
Hey Mikky,
It is because lay theme's frontend is a javascript single page application. You could run woocommerce on another wordpress install and link to that yea. You will still need to use a woocommerce-compatible theme for your woocommerce website.
If you don't want to use lay theme because it is not compatible with woocommerce I can give you a refund.

@arminunruh
Thank you for your mail.
Let me check first what is possible with linking to another WP-Theme and I will come back to you asap in regards of the refund.
So far I'm happy with your theme so I want to keep it if that is possible somehow with a workaround.Let's see...
THX,
Michael

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
