Wordpress fatal error when installing Lay Theme

what happens when you install a new Wordpress on your local machine? Then you should install Laytheme and update it.

Because when you update you have the new version :-/

I cannot update Lay Theme becuase when I install it there is only "fatal error" and then I cannot login into my admin page.

There is only white blank page with this information: "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare create_initial_rest_routes() (previously declared in /wp-includes/rest-api.php:183) in /wp-content/themes/lay/assets/inc/rest-api/plugin.php on line 221"

Could you send me updated version of Lay Theme? Why do I have to wait so long for it? I can't work without it.

Need the newest version of lay theme. My site has had Fatal Error displayed for a week, and I had to set up a temporary landing page. Need to get my work back up as soon as possible. My site is www.b-r.work and my email is b@visionsbybr.com

Hi,

I have the same problem, meaning theat I get a fatal error after reinstalling laytheme (www.phillipaumann.com) with an older version on wordpress. I also cannot log in to wordpress anymore. I sent a mail two days ago (invoice attached) asking for an update but no response. It would be great to get help here since I need to work on the new website asap. Thank you in advance. Phillip

you installed LayTheme locally and then uploaded the site to your webserver?

Did you make some changes at the server?

Best is if you write an email to marius@thepeople.world and include your username, password and a link to this conversation.

No i have upload the theme in the section of wordpress, i try also to upload the theme with filezilla, but i have the same problem.
