Image full screen zoom on click
-
Hey,
I'm trying to run this plugin (full screen image zoom) with Lay Theme. It works fine with the default WP theme, but sadly not with Lay.
In order to run it, you have to add a class to the image. I've added the class in the gridder, but it doesn't work.
Do you have an idea, what the problem could be? Would be amazing!
Thanks a lot!Best,

Hi @lm
it is possible that it does not work because LayTheme is coded as a single-javascript application.
Have a look here:
http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-javascriptAlso you cannot use custom PHP templates.
Maybe you can change the code in the jQuery of the Plugin that it runs on Laytheme?

Hi @mariusjopen
thanks for your answer. I think the main problem could be, that the class isn't visible in the html of the site, even though I've added it in the gridder.
Do you maybe know a solution for this?
Best,

Hi @lm
it is difficult to judge without seeing it.
Can you install it on a page and show us the example?
All the best and a happy new year!

Hi @lm
you did not add a class to the image yet. Only to the box around it.Maybe you need to adjust the code in the plugin to recognize the class around the image?
Is there a page where I can see the plugin running?
All the best!

Hi @lm
probably the plugin uses not the LayTheme jQuery language (which is working for single pages):
http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-javascriptI once coded that effect myself for the artist Sebastian Haslauer:
http://sebastianhaslauer.com/You can dig in that code and copy and paste it from there if that helps you.
Sorry the plugin does not run on LayTheme.
All the best!

@mariusjopen Hello, Does this code work on lightbox imagex?
thanks! -
Dear @cherylsinner
I think not. This code from the Haslauer website is pretty freestyle.
Best!Marius
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
