Scroll to menu anchor link from other pages

Hey Armin,

I'm trying to get the menu anchor links (about / contact) to scroll to the anchor position when clicked from other (project) pages. I can get it working fine on the homepage but they don't scroll when clicked from other pages.

I've read all the other posts on this topic and tried the JS suggested but can't seem to find a clear answer. I've also asked a few developers and they couldn't find a solution.

Is this possible at all? It's the last thing our client needs before going live so would be awesome to get it sorted.
