Not showing changes on motto and social media image

Hi Armin, I noticed that I can't change the motto of my website or even set up an image for the social media. These info update in the user area, but they don't show up if i google my website or either if I try to share it on social media. Is it a bug? Is anybody else experiencing the same problem?

So google takes some time to update it's info. For facebook you need to make it fetch the new info if you want to see the changes reflected faster.

In "Lay Options" -> "Facebook/Twitter Share Image" please read the text
"This image will show up when someone posts your website on Facebook or Twitter.
This should be a .jpg with 1200px width and 630px height to look good on Facebook.
To let Facebook know you are using a new image go here, paste your website address, and click "Fetch new scrape information"."

I know google takes some times to update its info, even though the title of my website changed immediately once I changed it. But I changed the motto maybe two months ago and it never got updated. Therefore, I don't know if it might be a bug or either if I still have to wait.

Ok, what do you mean by "motto"? I'm not sure what you mean.

Do you mean "lay options" -> "website description" in section "meta"?
