Using Variable fonts in in Text window

Hello, I was trying to switch to using a single variable font on my website for all weights.

While it works well in the text formats where I can add individual styles (using the slider / or weights dropdown), when I add text directly to a page layout with the [+ Text] I can not see any controls to alter the weight of the Variable font, (apart from the [B] Bold button).

Maybe I am doing something wrong, or is it not possible?

yes you can only use the variable font sliders when creating a textformat.
not inside the texteditor.

create a textformat with the settings you want, then use the button "format" in the texteditor to apply it

@arminunruh I was trying to use variable font on laytheme, but the sliders without any number are so difficult to use accurately.

Any plans to update this? Will be helpful
