Carousel — images with text low res

Hi! my images in carousel are pixelated (especially for text!) whereas the image is crisp and fine when inserted as a plain image on the page. Any ideas why and what I can do? Everything is up to date. Help much appreciated!! Thank you!

To re-phrase my question: is there a general impact on image quality when shown in a carousel or is this something that can be fixed? Thank you!

For demonstration purposes I placed a plain image and the exact same image in a carousel underneath. As you can see it's crisp on the top and blurry in the carousel. Thank you!

i see there is a different srcset attribute used for the carousel images compared to the normal images

can you update the carousel addon now please?
then the srcset attributes should be the same

pls disable any caching plugin if u have one enabled
please let me know once you did that and then i will take another look
