Carousel Addon > Lazyload images bug
-
Hello,
When I turn on the:Carousel Addon > Lazyload images option
and I click a link to open the carousel, I only see an empty overlay.
If I click to load the previous slide it suddenly loads all of the images but the JS console prints the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'contains') at Object.w [as isImageLoaded] (carousel.plugin.min.js?ver=2.6.1:1:40942) at B (carousel.plugin.min.js?ver=2.6.1:1:14496) at N (carousel.plugin.min.js?ver=2.6.1:1:13782) at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (carousel.plugin.min.js?ver=2.6.1:1:10132) at HTMLDivElement.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:40035) at v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:38006)[link text](link url)
You can find the error here:
https://www.ilariazennaro.com/I'd like to keep the LazyLoad option on but I need the first image to be shown shortly after opening the Carousel (without clicking again anywhere).
Thanks a lot,

hey can you use the project overlay feature instead of the page overlay feature for projects?
https://laytheme.com/documentation/projects-overlays.html
the page overlay feature is meant for having like 2 or 3 overlays for burger menu, about page etc
unfortunately iphone processing power set by apple in safari is probably not enough for ur website.
it may crash, because the markup for all page overlays is inside the page already. but project overlay markup only gets loaded and put into the page once you click on a project link -
and unfortunately i cant reproduce your issue
can you do the steps in the blue box to the right please
if that doesnt fix it:can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
