    Oh, actually I've already disabled the overlay because the user has added more content and it started to overflow... so I will add another question - is it possible to enable vertical scroll of the page on overlays?

    Here is the website (I've enabled the overlay again for the Info page):
    https://tamirhayun.com/
    On mobile, when clicking on the "close" button, it closes the overlay but leaves the menu open. My desired result is that the menu will be closed and the page that lies under the overlay will be shown.

      inside an overlay you should be able to scroll up and down if there is more content.
      make sure if your overlay is only one row, its not a browser height row

      ok i see you have a info overlay

      but it doesnt contain a link.
      and thats what the problem was: you have a link in an overlay, if it is clicked the overlay should close, but it didnt.

      was it an external link?
      i think it just closes if its an internal link

      ah ure talking about the close button now.
      ok the close button is just a close button for closing the overlay.
      not for closing the mobile menu, those are 2 different things

        you can do this:

        <script>
        jQuery(document).on("click", ".overlay-close", function(event) {
        	window.mobile_menu_controller.hideMobileMenu()
        });
        </script>

        Enter this css in "lay options" -> "custom css & html" -> "custom head content"

          this should also close your mobile menu when you close your page overlay

            Thanks for this solution, it is exactly what I needed!

                Hi, I set the overlay on preload for the desktop version but I dont want it to show for the mobile at all and still use it with a preload on desktop. Is there a way to do that?

                    Hi! Because it keeps on preloading on mobile and blocking the content underneath it, even the menu. So when people visit the web on mobile they cannot access to anything other than the overlay page and think its broke or something. Its been really usefull the preload for the desktop version because its a display of the general info of the project, so I want them to see that when they visit the front page, but I dont need it on the mobile. So I guess my question is: could I only leave the preload of the overlay on desktop and off on mobile?

                        so i understood you wanted to turn off the page overlay feature for mobile.
                        but i see you dont mean this.

                        you mean you want to turn off the overlays getting preloaded for mobile

                        So when people visit the web on mobile they cannot access to anything other than the overlay page and think its broke or something.

                        the overlays being preloaded for mobile shouldn't interfere with any other functionality. thats why it would be super useful for me to take a look at ur site to see whats going on

                        you can also send it to my email if u want: info@laytheme.com
