how to achieve a woocommerce products minimal list + image hover on each?
-
Hi there!
A couple of weeks ago we have purchased LAY theme, because we saw https://juliangalay.com/ and liked the minimal style and image hover effect...But the question is... can this be achieved using all our woocommerce products instead "projects"?
We need to list the woocommerce products, and each one showing that kind of hover image effectI have been looking the documentation, videos, etc... and did not find a way to achieve it yet... can you point us to the light?
we continue in darkness here...Best regards, and sorry for the bad english!

hello, you need the imagehover addon
and please update your lay theme version to 9.0.3.
i just added a new element for you called "product index" which is a copy of the project index element:in here, make sure this is checked (will only show up if your imagehover addon is active):
-
oh and you need to update the imagehover addon too
-
they can be translated if you use qtranslate-xt:
download here:
https://github.com/qtranslate/qtranslate-xt(green button, download zip)
install as a wordpress pluginthe latest lay theme update includes support for this, i just added support for it yesterday
other plugins like polylang would work too.
but with polylang you need to duplicate the page for each language so its more work -
so you enable qtranslate-XT
then i think in the qtranslate settings u need to enable the languages u want.
then when u use the latest lay theme version and edit your project index: -
when u change the language strings there, in the gridder it will look like this at the moment for that element:
but on the frontend it will show the correct language.
and here is some instructions for multilanguge with lay theme: -
sure! whats cool about qtranslate is you dont need to duplicate posts into another language so its less work
the downside is u cant have images in another language
its only the text that can be changed
I also code custom websites or custom Lay features.
