I'm just getting started with the Lay Theme. I'm trying to add simple title attributes to images so they display some text when hovered over with the mouse cursor. The easiest way to do this with the standard WP block editor is through various plugins. But some plugins that work with the standard editor do not appear to work with the Lay's Gridder (e.g., Shortcodes Ultimate).

Is there another relatively efficient way to add "tooltip" like text to images on mouseover under the Lay Theme? I'm developing an artist's portfolio site, and a mouseover on each artwork needs to display Title, material, size, and date in a pop-up (tooltip).

    Thanks!

FWIW, I can do a nice text-over-image on hover with custom CSS, but only by hard-coding the image HTML and placement, etc. (So, not getting the benefit of Gridder...) I was really hoping to benefit from the efficiency of Gridder for layout and then apply the hover attribute to the images after placement.
