why can't i select the text from there, for example to copy and paste it somewhere else?
how can i activate this?

on the mobile version it is possible but not on desktop. also the links are not working on the desktop version. what is wrong?

It looks like your nav bar is covering the content:
.navbar { height: 40vw; }Try to reduce the height in the Custom CSS:

Try this to fix issues before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself
