Longer captions overlap with the numbers below the Carousel.

I have my captions aligned on the left and the numbers on the right, but especially on mobiles – even with small type – they are too long and overlap.

Is there a CSS fix for this? Or am I overlooking something? Can the numbers “push/block” the words of captions so they don’t overlap?

    Any help appreciated.

    Best regards

      Hey Bro!

This is indeed a not nice thing and there is no official solution for this yet.

You could try to place the text somewhere else with Custom CSS and Custom Javascript.

We will consider this in the future!

I hope you can find a solution around it.

let me know if you face problems.

      :-)

      All the best!

        Thanks for your reply.

I don’t want the text somewhere else though. You have it exactly where I want it. I’ll live with the overlapping and try to keep the captions short.

        Best, Bro

          Hey Bro!

What I meant was the following.

You can send the text with jQuery to another text box which is at the same spot like the old one. And hide the old one.
But you have more control about this text box, because you created it. So you can tell it to be shorter and not overlap.

But to be honest: I am not sure if this is worth the effort. This seems like a complicated thing to do.
I mean – it is possible. But already pretty advanced.

If you can live with it – I would just recommend to keep the text captions short.
You can make soft breaks by pressing SHIFT-ENTER. Maybe that helps.

          All the best!
