      Hi there,

this is really annoying, I remember having this problem the last time…
I do everything as shown in the Video, but after importing the MySQL Database I always end up with the following screen.
      0_1493126715543_Bildschirmfoto 2017-04-25 um 15.11.09.png

For some reason WP is not applying the database i want it to…
What am I doing wrong? Ideas?

      Thx, M

        Hi Marvic,

I understand that you are annoyed.

Best is if you write an email to armin.unruh@gmail.com and include your username, password and a link to this conversation.

We will then look into it!

You can also try to use a migration tool like Updraft.

        All the best!

        Marius

          Hey Marvic!

          Did you find/get a solution?
I solved the problem. Probably in the most inelegant way but it worked.
(Maybe there is someone out here who is able to translate my description in a serious a´posting. I really have no idea of that whole 'programming' thing. hahahaah.)

Instead of checking and changing the table_prefix inside the config.php I tried changing all prefixes in SQL.
In detail: I imported the sql from WP Migrate DB to my database and named these files like WP did it whilst the fresh installation. It also took me long time to find all meta_keys entries in _usermeta, _postmeta, etc. But then, when I changed everything my login worked again.

Hope I could make it clear.
          Best.

            Hi Hi d44w and Marvic,

glad that worked! Yes, databases can be a pain in the ass. Weird that it did not work with the config.php file.

@Marvic you can give it a shot. But first try to adapt the prefixes in the config.php file before you start changing all the database prefixes.

Let me know if that worked!

            Best!

            Marius

I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.

Try this to fix issues before you post:

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

            1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            2. Disable all Plugins
            3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
            4. Now see if your problem solved itself
            5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
            Troubleshooting

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

            Thanks!
