      Hey Mods,

      I am having trouble having a background image show up globally on a website I am trying to create.

      I have uploaded it under customize, see it flash for a moment on page load, but is soon covered up by the background color and subsequently everything else on the site.

      this is the site that I am working on:
      http://nicholeshinn.com/

      Are there any conflicts here i am unaware of?
      what could be going on?

      For reference, this issue arose at the same time as i updated, my carousels broke, and lightbox stopped working. I fixed the other problems but this persists.

      Thanks in advance for your time!

      Kurt

        Hi Kurt,

        you can add this to your custom css:

        body, #footer-region, #rows-region, #cover-region {
            background-image: url(http://nicholeshinn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/glitter.gif) !important;
        }

        It might be a big. We will have a look at the issue.

        Best!

        Marius

        Try this to fix issues before you post:

        Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

        1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
        2. Disable all Plugins
        3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
        4. Now see if your problem solved itself
        5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
        Troubleshooting

        When you post:
        1. Post a link to where the problem is
        2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

        Thanks!
