I am trying to include a sidebar on projects pages, but it will not allow me to flow the content longer than one row, nor can I have multiple photos under each other in a row.
My goal is to have one sidebar filled with text (spaning 2 gridder columns) on one side, then images (spaning 6 gridder columns) on the other side (see attached photo). I need the content of the sidebar to extend beyond the first row, while still allowing images to stack next to it.

Any suggestions on how I can make this happen?

        Hi Yik!

Until now it is not possible to have many elements underneath in one row.
Also you cannot place two Gridders next to each other.

There is not really a way to do it except if you put the text separately in the header. (Which is quite a dirty fix)

        All the best!

          Hi Marius,

          Thank you for replying.
I can have the images in their own row, but the biggest problem is the sidebar. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can accomplish the design in the screenshot? I truly love the Lay theme as it is so easy and flexible to work with, but the sidebar will be a deal breaker for my client.

Could you walk me through adding the sidebar content in the header? I will probably have about 20 project pages where this will be the case.

          Thank you.

            Hi Yik,

this would not be a real sidebar. I need to disappoint you.

I was talking about a dirty fix which would mean to put plain HTML code into the sidebar. No drag and drop of images and text.
Not very recommendable when you want to edit the content of the sidebar.

If you want a refund that is all right.
Best is if you write an email to armin.unruh@gmail.com, send a link to this post and ask him for a refund.

            Sorry about that!

Try this to fix issues before you post:

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

            1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            2. Disable all Plugins
            3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
            4. Now see if your problem solved itself
            5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
            Troubleshooting

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

            Thanks!
