      Hello,

here is another problem with this site: http://sebastianlange-sax.com/wp

I chose a font color for my design that is close to or 100% that of the background of the Lay Theme text editor. Resulting in competely invisible text in the editor! Is there a way to change the text color ONLY for the editor or the background color of the editor window?

      See here:

      Thanks for your help!
      Cheers, Arne

        Hi Arne,
this is a funny questions. Until now there is no option for that.

One solution could be that you leave the text in the editor in black and give it the color in the Custom CSS.

        I hope that helped.

        Best!

          Hello Marius,

yes, I never ran into this before and it was only by coincidence. Yes, I can use the Custom CSS – but I lose a bit of flexibility by not really being able to use the Text Formats.

Is there a possibility to somehow change the editor colors in the Custom CSS? or hack the theme?

Maybe you could build this feature into the theme – might come in handy for other people as well. You will always run into this when you use light text colors on dark backgrounds in your design – even if they are not 100% the same as the editor colors.

          Cheers and thanks,
          Arne

            Hi Arne,

this is not really possible, because the "hack" would be overwritten with the new update.

I wrote it down as a point for improvement in next versions of LayTheme.

If you give a text a paragraph, it will appear as a class.
So with Custom CSS you can also address specific paragraphs.

            I hope that help!

            :-)

            Best!

Try this to fix issues before you post:

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

            1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            2. Disable all Plugins
            3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
            4. Now see if your problem solved itself
            5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
            Troubleshooting

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

            Thanks!
