      Hi Forum,

I keep having issues with the font in the mobile version of my page - the font does not display as selected in the customizer (it seems like it's displaying Times New Roman instead of the font I selected). I attached screenshots.

      Any hints on this?

      Thank you!
      Tom

        Hi Tom,

can you post a link to your website. If I go on tomkleinschmidt.com it is a Coming soon page.

Do you have the latest version of Laytheme and Wordpress installed?

Do you use a custom CSS code which might collide?

        Best!

        Marius

@mariusjopen I'm sorry, the website is not launched yet - I can't have it online the whole weekend. Can you tell me when you need the website online - I'll make it public for that time window then!

@mariusjopen update on this: I tried changing the font for the mobile site to Helvetica and keep Andale for the normale website. The result: I can not change the font for the normal website and the mobile site separately. It keeps changing it to the same font...

                  Hey Tom,

I did not look into the forum on the weekend.

So it changes always back to the serif font?

Can you upload the site on a subdomain for test reasons?

To tell you the mistake I really need to look into the page.

                  All the best!

@mariusjopen I created a user for you: Testbenutzer. The PW is your name. Would that work?

                        Hey Tom,

I cannot log in. There are many different names to spell my name. Capitals, no capitals, together…
                        :-)

Best is to send me an email mail@mariusjopen.com.

                              Hey TomKlein!

I bet your mobile device does not have the font "Andale Mono" installed. If you want to use that font and have it compatible for all devices, I recommend you get the webfont version of that font, upload it through "lay options -> webfonts" and then apply the webfont of it everywhere.

                              Before you post

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

                              1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
                              2. Disable all Plugins
                              3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
                              4. Now see if your problem solved itself
                              5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
                              Troubleshooting

                              When you post:
                              1. Post a link to where the problem is
                              2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

                              Thanks!
