Project description not saving
-
Hello LayTheme-team,
I have a problem with the project descriptions: I copy a project and try to change and save the project description but after saving the project it always changes back to the previous content of that field.
Here is the link: http://koeterhai.de/de/kuenstler/theskavengers-deI use the theme Version 2.3.3 and WordPress Version 4.9.
Do you have any idea how to fix that?
Thanks and regards,

HI @ArneRobot
so you cannot just duplicate a project? It should create a new project with the ending Copy.Let me know!

Hello Marius,
yes, I CAN duplicate a project and I CAN change all info in the gridder. Everything BUT the project descriptions. When I change those and hit "Aktualisieren" (blue WP button) on the page it changes back to the text that was there before.
I think that it doesn't write my edit to the database anymore but changes back to the text that was saved there before.
Thank you and regards

Small update: I am testing on this bug and I am pretty sure that it has to do with the latest WordPress version.
I installed a testing stage version of my website (no plugins): same problems!
I made a clean install (just the theme, no plugins) with WP 4.9 with an older Lay Theme (Version: 2.1.2): same problems!
Cheers, Arne

Hi @ArneRobot !
Thank you for your help with looking for the mistake. That helps us as well.
I just made a couple of tests here and all seems to work fine.
Best is if you write an email to marius@thepeople.world and include your username, password and a link to this conversation.

Hello!
Marius and you found out it doesn't work on Firefox. If you update lay theme now, it should work again. Yea, it was a compatibility issue with the latest WordPress update.
Maybe you need to clear your cache to make it work, not sure.
Have a good day!
