Add projects thumbnails to different categories.
-
Hello all,
I've had trouble finding how to add a project on different categories. For example, there's a few projects on my homepage, but when i try to add a project in a category page like "Works" the button says: no projects to add.
Could someone help me ?
Thank you very much,

There are two things you can try.
On category pages you can only add a project if its a member of the category.
When ure inside your project, check the category work. Then in the work category page this project should be addable. But heres the problem if you have 'project arrows' activated, a project will only be able to have one category, not multiple.Another thing: In pages you can add any projects with "+project". Maybe you want to replace your category page with a normal page.
Or maybe i should code it so that you can add any projects to a category page. I think I should code it like this.

Thanks for you quick reply! I now understand how it works :)
I'm creating a new page then for "Works" it'll make things easier and i'll keep the lovely arrows.Cheers,

Did you think about it yet? That would be great, specially if you want to create an Article Index that includes the Thumbnailgrid with all categories instead of just one :)

Hi clrcrtq!
It is definitely on our list of things which will be considered in one of the following updates.
Many wishes!!

I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.
Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
Now see if your problem solved itself.
Go here, see if your problem is listed here:

When you post:
1. Post a link to where the problem is
2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
