      Hi !
I developed my website off line with MAMP and today i moved it online.
Now i got some troubles because it seems that lay theme do not recognized the permalinks from the local developement.

Is there a tip to rebuild the permalinks for the whole website ?

      thanks :)

        hey servan!
In case your permalinks still have the old localhost urls:
You could use the plugin "WP Migrate DB" to export your database from your localhost. With that it's easy to replace the old localhost domain with the new one.

If it's just that permalinks are not working right, but the permalinks have the right urls:
You could go to "Settings" -> "Permalinks" and click on "save changes" again to make wordpress refresh your htaccess file.

          Hi armin!
Thanks it's quite better, WP Migrate helps me :) The links work, but the custom settings (fonts, color, preference, menu bar) still don't work.

Let me know if I can find back my settings applied on "custom theme"

Ok, I think using "WP Migrate" maybe you have to replace both the URL and the path for everything to work well.

You see, at the bottom there's /home/arminunruh/… that's my file path. In case I would need to transfer my site to another server, I would need to replace that too. This php snippet is an easy way to find out the path: http://www.htaccesstools.com/articles/full-path-to-file-using-php/

Forgot your key, lost your files, need a previous Lay Theme or Addon version? Go to www.laykeymanager.com

            Before you post:

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

            1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            2. Disable all Plugins
            3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
            4. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache. Now see if your problem solved itself.
Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
            Troubleshooting

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

            Thanks!
