Help, all troubleshooting tips fail

After using lay theme on one domain I want to use it for another. Unfortunately it isn't working properly on this domain? After re-installing WP and Lay theme several times it still won't show images on Home. Menu changes will work, typo, and color changes also but no images on Home. I started looking in the forum and tried all the solutions - several times - that worked for other people with same errors. Until now nothing works here... I already started looking for other free themes but I love Lay theme fot it's flexibility and clearness.

Ok, it seems that your website is trying to fetch data from http://www.hansgerritsen.dds.nl/wordpress/
but your new domain is another one. So it's trying to fetch data from your old website. Please install this wordpress plugin on your old site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

Then go to "Tools" -> "Migrate DB". On the left at "Find" you'll see your old domain, on the right, you need to enter your new domain name. Export the database. Now import the database to your new website. You should be able to do that in your webhost control panel.

I think I have to accept that this to difficult for me. Although I tried several times and did exactly what you described, from database export to import and through phpadmin. Weird because on my other domain lay theme directly worked perfectly... Thank you for your time sofar and keep up the good works! I will see for another theme, unfortunately...

You're right, it's a bit difficult.
If you like you can write me your webhost login and wordpress login in chat. And I can see what I can do. This is not really a lay theme issue, you would need to do these steps with every wordpress site when you want to move a wordpress site to another domain.
