Customize

Hi Armin,
Thanks for this awesome portfolio theme, I really needed this !
Although I'm having a big deal with the customize option. Here's what's happening, everytime I click on customize from my Wordpress dashboard, I'm told that my session has expired and I'm asked to log again. When I enter my correct username and password, a message says "You logged correctly" then it seems to load and straight after the same message appears "Your session has expired. Please log again. You'll get back to this page."
I googled the problem and I see people are having this problem with any theme, they usually solve it by de-activating all plugins then re-activating them one by one to find the cause. Not working for me. Others are switching between different themes to erase the bug. Not with me either. Now I think it might have something to do with my Wordpress install files on my FTP but I would have to uninstall and re-install the whole site. Before doing so, I'd like to know if you have a better solution. I have two sites on my server and the OVH logo (hosting server) is still showing as the favicon of my site, if this helps you to understand.
Hope you have an idea to solve this out.

Thanks! :)
Hm does it work if you go to Appearance -> Customize? Instead of clicking customize in the main menu directly.

Need custom programming for your Lay Theme site?
I regularly add new features to Lay Theme for free, based on user feedback. But if you or your client need something more specific, I’m happy to offer custom paid programming tailored to your project.
Email info@laytheme.com with the subject "Custom paid programming for Lay Theme" and a short description of what you need — I’ll reply with a cost estimate.
Custom features I build often make it into future Lay Theme updates, so your idea might benefit the whole community.
