Lightbox Addon image quality
-
Hey Armin,
so sorry, another question...I just installed the lightbox addon and set the image size to 100% but the image quality always worsenes when in the lightbox "mode" (they look softened/not really sharp). But on the regular project page they look totally fine even though they are displayed at an even bigger size than in the lightbox "mode". The height of all of the pictures is 1080 px, I could also make them larger but I guess the size of the images is not the problem, right?
Is there a way to fix this and to maintain the high image quality for the lightbox aswell?Thank you!!

Hey Bella, nah you don't have to be sorry.
Hm ok, do you have a link? Maybe it's a bug, not sure. -
Sure. It's not a horrible difference but still noticeable, would be great if it could be fixed.
On this page for example, if you look at the first image. In the "normal" size it looks fine to me and in lightbox it doesn't look as sharp anymore. What do you think? -
What is the browser you are using?
-
usually google chrome but I just checked in safari and firefox and it always looks the same to me.

Yep, I need to fix that, gonna work on that now.
Hey, ok so I re-checked now and maybe it's because you don't have the latest version of the lightbox addon. The lightbox addon's latest version is 1.1.8. Maybe you don't have the latest version because all the addons were also affected by the update service breaking. I wrote an email to everybody who had bought an addon and explained how to install the new versions, maybe u didn't get that email.
I'm sending the latest lightbox addon version to your email address! Please try that version and then let's see if the problem persists.
I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.
