How to add a scrolling text box (<marquee>)?

Hey there!
I'd like to a add a scrolling text box to my website like here >> http://selam-x.com.
You suggested this https://developer.mozilla.org/de/docs/Web/HTML/Element/marquee but unfortunately I don't get it work..
What do I have to do?Thanks a lot!

you need to use the MARQUEE in an HTML element.
You cannot get it to work at all?

We were also talking about the font problem in the menu - it's showing the Times in Safari and I don't know how to change the CSS. It's all in the Mail - thank you so much! -

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
