Carousel not working

Hi,

I have purchased this plug in 2 years ago when I built me site, I has been working since then, but now I am tryign to make some changes and even though I see it on the toolbar, when I click on it to add a carousel element, nothing happens.

Additional observations:
–plugin is up to date
–jetpack plugin is disabled
–the older carousel elements work on the website (simonasite.com)
–I am afraid to uninstall and reinstall the plugin for fear of loosing prev carousel elements. Also not sure if that would be any help.

Also there is a comment saying "Lay Theme 2.5.5 is available! Please update now." and one that says "UNREGISTERED version of Lay Theme. Please enter your License Key." but as I read that is because I signed up to this theme long time ago when there was no such thing yet, and this should not tamper with my site.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

thank you for using LayTheme from the beginning :-)

You can still make an update, even when you LayTheme is not registered.

That should not make any changes on your website and all the plugins will work again. (Don't forget to also updater the plugins…)

Anyway we always recommend to make a backup from time to time.

Let us know if the problem stays after the update.

For some reason the update worked this time and now carousel is back to life as well.
