HTTP ERROR 500
-
Hello,
I tried updating Lay Theme and Wordpress today and now my website totally crashed.
I can't access anything anymore (also not the admin page) due to "HTTP ERROR 500".I already wrote an e-mail to Armin about the fatal error but am hoping that maybe somebody here can help me too, since I need to get the site back up quickly.
I made a manual sql backup before updating the website, so I hope that everything can be restored but since I can't access anything I don't know how to do that.
Also I don't want to do anything that might make it even more difficult to get the website back to working.Does anyone have suggestions on what to do?
Thank you very much for any help!

Having the same issue.
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
