Use Image Caption for Lightbox caption
-
Hi Team,
Is it somehow possible to use the same captions for the normal captions and for the Lightbox caption? I would like to have them the same, but I don't really want to manually add them twice each image. Can I somehow add a simple line of code to make them identical/show the image captions as Lightbox caption?
Can you explain in a few words what the new changes to visibiliy (of posts and pages) are good for?
Privat - just means I can see it but normal users don't?
Public - online
password protect - understandableAnd with status: why does pending review mean? If I activate that the page seems to be the same.
What is the best setting if I want to work on a project/page without everyone seeing it?
Thanks

Dear @leo01
PRIVATE means that you can only see it when you are logged in to Wordpress.PENDING review means that if you work with an editor, you can wait until the editor approves the post. Until then it is also not visible for the public.
To your other question: There is not a way yet to synchronize the lightbox caption with the image caption.
I write that down for the future.
Best!

Thanks!Regarding the captions: Is there a way via HTML, CSS or Java to do so? Or nothing I can do about this?
Should be something like a code capturing the image caption and make it the same for Lightbox caption with a different css class so I can style then differently.--
Another question: Can I somehow set a basic setting for the Project thumbnail layout (Rows and gutters for Desktop/Mobile and Tablet) so I don't need to reset them the same all the time.

And one more:
Can I somehow set the basic Text format for Captions and Lightbox captions so that I don't need to select each caption and set a text format? I would like to have a preset for that so all captions and Lightbox captions get assigned with a preset text format of my choice. is that possible? Thanks

Dear @leo01
it is much easier to make a post for each question. Easier for me to answer and also for other people to learn form it. But no worries…
I am sure there is a way. Look into APPEND. To fetch text from a div and apply it to another div is not that difficult.
Consider as well this:
http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-javascriptYou mean for the Thumbail Grid? No. not possible yet. But a good idea.
Not really possible. I will write it down for the future.
Best!
