HTML5 video or embed vimeo?

Hi everyone,
We were wondering what is best option is for us regarding showing video's on our website. We have two options, embed video from vimeo or HTML5 video.
We have a video that is 1 minut long, 1920 x 1280 px, and 46,8 MB.
Is this too big for HTML5? We prefer HTML5 because we can use it also in the carrousel plugin.Hope our question is clear. Thanks in advance!

HTML5 works without a problem. Vimeo has other advantages, like the sharing of the platform etc…
But technical wise, there is no difference.

Thanks for your response, we like to use HTML5, but we can not get our files smaller then 44 mb. So we can not work with HTML5 because there is only 32 upload allowed.Is there an another way to get bigger videos into the laytheme? Or is it better if the file size is bigger then 32 MB to use vimeo?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
