Supply a PDF file for download

I want to supply a PDF file for download. I could not find any instructions on this in the documentation. I could successfully create a link to my pdf file, But the entire pdf now opens in an extra tab. I shows only the first page of the PDF and I can not download it from there. I want the visitor to be able to download the pdf. Can anyone help me with this?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
