Carousel Add on disappeared

Hello
I got a free plugin when I first installed Lay Theme, the carousel. Now, perhaps because Lay theme has been updated, it isn't there anymore...? I used to be able to use this plugin, but now it does not show up under +More. Also, I checked the FTP, and the carousel file is inside the plugins folder inside WP-Content...so why doesn't it show up in my admin panel?

yes. If you use an updated version you cannot use the old plugins anymore.
You might use the old files which you got in the beginning if you still have them.

Hi! Thanks for the reply.
I do have the old file, it is still uploaded in the WP-content folder, and I tried re-uploading it, but it isn't working. This seems like a shame, if I can't continue using a plugin that I own...What else might I try?

if you use your old files and not not update anything. Then it might still work.
Try a new install of Laytheme with your old files.
