    Hi there @mariusjopen and @arminunruh

    I'm battling a weird problem which makes total sense on one hand and somehow doesn’t on the other:

    I'm using a background-color which is slightly off-black and match the background color of almost all my images to make them appear free floating. All images are saved as sRGB, 8bit files to make them as compatible as possible.
    The problem is that on certain monitors / browsers / system it’s possible to see the background color of the images separate to the rendered background color of the whole site which is not intended.

    I kinda was able to fix this with a small background image in the exakt color for the whole site, but am wondering if there is any way to get this working in a more elegant and efficient way?

      Dear @edgrbnz
      this is because different browsers interpret colours differently.

      You can make a JPG with the special black and use this image as a background instead of defining a colour in LayTheme.

      Hope that helps!

      Best!

        @mariusjopen

        Yeah,… that’s what I thought.
        The Jpeg workaround works fine. I just was wondering if there is any way to force browsers to interpret a Hex-Code with a simulated color profile (or something like that).

        Thanks!

          Dear @edgrbnz
          I would not count on that.
          You could make the JPG 1px by 1px though to get the smallest size possible.

          Best!
